Josh Duhamel’s recent trip to Africa wasn’t just vacation—it was life changing. The actor spent five days in Tanzania’s Grumeti Game Reserve with the African Community & Conservation Foundation (ACCF), visiting education centers and empowerment projects, training with anti-poaching and special-ops units, and roaming the savanna marveling at giraffes, lions, leopards, elephants, and baboons.

The goal of the trip was to raise awareness and funding to protect African wilderness and support the more than 20 villages that neighbor the 350,000-acre reserve. But Duhamel did more than that: Upon returning from his adventure, he joined the ACCF board to further transform lives and protect wild places throughout Africa.
